Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Outpatient Flexible Sigmoidoscopies are performed by the Board-Certified Fellowship-Trained Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Specialists at Saddleback Medical Group, GI Associates at the
Digestive Disease Center in Laguna Hills, CA. Our GI doctors use Flexible Sigmoidoscopy to examine the inside lining of the rectum and lower section of the colon. During Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, our GI doctors use a sigmoidoscope, a long thin tube with a light and viewing instrument that sends images to a monitor.
